The technology of the Griffon Flush System

An invention by Claudius Griffon

In the 1950s, Claudius Griffon conceived an innovative alternative to traditional flush systems.
His goal: to design a system that is more reliable, more efficient, and more durable, capable of delivering consistent flushing quality while controlling water consumption.

From this idea was born the Griffon hydroflush, a patented hydropneumatic technology that would become the technical DNA of the brand and exclusively equip the L’Original Griffon tank.

An exclusive technology in The Original's tank

The Hydroflush technology is exclusively integrated into The Original Griffon tank.
It fully contributes to its iconic character, both decorative and technical.

The Original tank is certified Origine France Garantie.

Technical operation of the hydroflush around 4 key steps

  • 1. Use of the water network pressure

The water network pressure feeds the tank and compresses the air reserve contained in the Hydroflush tank.

  • 2. Pressurizing the air reservoir

The compressed air stores energy. This combination of air + pressurized water forms the core of the Griffon hydropneumatic system.

  • 3. Operation by dosing lever

When flushing, using the dosing lever, the accumulated pressure is released in a controlled manner.

  • 4. Instant pressure restoration

The air pressure immediately transfers its energy to the water, causing a powerful, even, precise flush without unnecessary splashing. This principle ensures an effective flush from the first activation, with excellent user comfort.
